Scoring Ironheart for Marvel Studios
Dara Taylor wrote the score for Marvel Studios' Ironheart, the Disney+ series produced by Ryan Coogler. The score was nominated for an NAACP Image Award.
The central piece is Riri's Theme, which appears in her catalog twice: once under its own name, and once as part of the Ironheart action-adventure set alongside Think Fast, The Crew and Black Market. Hearing them together is the clearest way to understand how the series sounds, because the theme is not a single cue but a shape the action writing keeps returning to.
She has talked about the series at length and in public. Deadline covered the trailer's arrival in May 2025. She discussed the work at Comic Con that year, and gave a spoiler-inclusive interview about the soundscape of the series, from its needle drops to the themes written for its characters.
